We are all in this together and therapy is one place where we have the chance to embrace this simple fact. Therapy at its best is a collaborative process of exploration and experimentation leading to new ways of engaging with ourselves, the people around us, and the world as a whole. By learning how our past has shaped our survival skills and habits, we create the possibility of acceptance, change and growth.
The process involves some hard work, some tears, a lot of laughter, and the chance to step beyond the walls that have kept us safe but confined for years.
I have over 20 years of experience in mental health, with a focus on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychedelic Integration. I have an extensive background in community mental health, serving active duty Iraq/Afghanistan service members, homeless adults, and people with severe mental illness and substance abuse.
Contact me to set up a free 20-minute consultation by phone or video. We will discuss your needs and history, and I will answer any questions you have about my style or the process.
