I have over 25 years of experience in mental health, with a focus on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychedelic Integration. I have an extensive background in community mental health, serving active duty Iraq/Afghanistan service members, homeless adults, and people with severe mental illness and substance abuse.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University and a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Boston University. I completed a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Fellowship at the Veteran’s Administration in San Diego in 2010, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma. I completed basic training in EMDR in 2018, and I am a clinical trainer in Motivational Interviewing.
In my free time, I am a cellist, gardener and outdoor enthusiast with a daily yoga and meditation practice. Along with the skills listed above, I believe in the simple power of exercise, breathing and creativity to move emotion and build something positive out of our hardest experiences. We have this time – let’s make the best of it.
